Steve Berezan has been active in purchasing real estate for more than 17 years, initially targeting commercial properties related to the hospitality industry.
In 1990 the hospitality division of the Berezan family group of companies was established www.berezanhg.com with the purchase of the first hospitality property and business. Since then, the hospitality division has grown to the current number of 6 pubs, 10 liquor stores, a ski resort, hostel and catering facility with over 400 team members.
As President of the hospitality division, Steve has been responsible for managing the growth from a single mom-and-pop operation to a professionally managed corporation with integrated systems.
Concurrently, Steve has been active in seeking out and negotiating the purchase of additional real estate opportunities for Berezan Management www.berezan.ca. As the number of acquisitions increased, Steve recognized his passion to follow this format for success and established Stonewater Properties Inc. in 2005.
Besides the mentorship and experience in the family company, Steve credits the Vancouver Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) as an invaluable professional and personal resource for his development as a successful entrepreneur. An active member since 2001, Steve has held board positions as Education Chair for two years, accelerator program, President and Past President.

Selina Maruyama is the Operations Manager and oversees the day-to-day operations of both the Canadian and US companies. She is responsible for the company accounting, including tenant billing. Selina conducts the financial analysis on new investments properties during the company's due diligence process. She is the direct point of contact for all Canadian tenants and US team members, as well as being the primary investor relations contact for the company. Selina also assists with all of Stonewater's marketing and media initiatives.
Selina is highly skilled in all aspects of operating a successful business. She brings enthusiasm and highly refined interpersonal skills to the task of managing the operations of the business. Prior to joining Stonewater, Selina worked for an affiliated company for a number of years.

Kevin Donegan | Email Kevin
Kevin Donegan is responsible for managing all tenant improvement projects and working directly with our tenants while these improvements are being completed. He is also responsible for developing repair and maintenance budgets and managing all trade workers and technicians. As well, Kevin oversees all construction taking place in tenant units and any construction upgrades and building additions undertaken by Stonewater.
Kevin has a comprehensive background in all areas of facilities and property management, as well as warehouse management. His property management background includes expertise in estimating, budgeting, project management, cost containment and cost savings through continuous improvement. Kevin is highly motivated and brings a creative approach to solving any construction-related challenges that may arise. Prior to joining the Stonewater team, Kevin owned a successful construction company and was a senior facilities manager for a company in Corpus Christi.
